Our various performing groups are open to anyone with an interest in making music in a fun way. You don’t have to be a student of Carlow College Of Music to join any of our performing groups just have a passion for performing within a group.
Participation in these groups provide an ideal opportunity for enhancement of musical and personal skills by exposing the young musician to group dynamics, appreciation of performance, pride in one’s improving standards, co-ordination of instrumental playing/voices and responding to/coping with an audience.
It is strongly recommended that all students attending the college participate in one or more of the performing groups.
All of our groups have performed in many prestigious events both in Carlow, Dublin and several European Cities. We also take part in many fund raising events.
